"I just wanted to let you you know I love the HooBlades! We fished the edge of the Gulf Stream out of Port Canaveral Sunday. We had two short bites right away . I figured no better time to try the HooBlades . I sent two back in the middle of the spread . Not long after we had our first dolphin come in the spread and it was fired up !!! Acted nothing like the two before and boy did he find he hook! All the fish that came in the spread after the HooBlades went out acted much more fired up then the two first hits ! And they inhaled the bait instead of short hitting . We had dolphin swimming past all the out rigger baits right to the HooBlades! I can’t thank you enough !!! I can’t wait to get my HooBlades back out !!"

Blade Spins - Not your Bait!
Blade spins freely on the Sleeve with minimal drag and friction so your natural baits and trolling lures track true.
No worries, Sleeve protects leader from chafing and prevents washout from the front. Inside diameter of Sleeve .062" / 1.57mm.
Running a larger leader? Ditch the Sleeve and run the Blade alone. Inside diameter of Blade (without Sleeve) .177" / 4.50mm.
"The Hooblade worked great down in Palm Beach, Florida. We had a slow morning but we threw some blades on planers and came back with two smoker kings, within an hour. One was on a double hook ballyhoo and the other a Bonita strip. The one fish swallowed the ballyhoo down so far I had to cut the hooks out. It was our first time using them and now plan on using them in our up coming fishing tournament. Thank you and great work coming up with this."

Lures Too!
Rig it with or without the protective sleeve and add some BUZZ to your favorite trolling lure. The blade spins well at all speeds and creates a vibration that drives ‘em crazy.
Trigger the Bite!
"Really impressed with the way they ran off the flat lines. Caught mahi running them on top. Pulled the clear on the flat line behind the dredge 5-6knots. Ran beautifully til it 'got ate'! Ran the blue in front of one of my blue and silver cherry bombs on the long rigger, 5-6knots it made a lot of commotion! It also got eaten"

Blade Only
Run the Blade alone for larger leaders and when the face of your lure needs to be exposed. The spinning blade pre-agitates the water before it enters the intake holes creating wicked smoke. Inside diameter of Blade (without Sleeve) .177” / 4.50mm
Keeping it on the Surface
You can count on the HooBlade bringing whatever you are pulling to the surface at 4-6knots (depending on set up). To keep it on the surface like a "bird", raising the pull point with outriggers or running it off rod tips may be necessary at slower speeds or with heavier lures.
6 Knots or Less Below the Surface
Best run off the flat lines, running below the surface at these speeds (without the use of a planer or down-rigger) requires the most finesse. While lowering your pull-point is by far the best option, adding weight and running further back will also net you higher speeds. See "Rigging" tab above for details.
6 Knots Plus
Beyond six knots, a planer is a great option as well as a down-rigger or Troll Pro. Beyond planer speeds, trolling lead or heavy lures are a must. See "Rigging the HooBlade" for planer details.
Lateral Lines
The Lateral Line is an acute sensory system in game fish used to detect movement, vibration, and pressure gradients in the surrounding water. As their primary sense for locating food, predators use their lateral line system to follow the vortices produced by fleeing prey.
FINALLY, a spinning blade designed specifically for trolling applications.
Don't Troll Without It!
HooBlade Colors
